Unless Boykins (what an appropriate name given this photo, eh) is especially petite with a very small frame… hmmm… must find Shaq next to other average-sized folks…
Actually, it does. Boykins IS that small, and not only is Shaq that tall, but he does a lot of weight lifting, and weighs over 300 lbs. because of that. So, this photo is pretty accurate.
Boykins weighs all of 130 lbs, so there’s that.

Being 4′11″ I can tell you this is what the world looks like from down here.
I’m 5′1″ so i see the world this way too, but I’ve never met any one that tall. Wonder what it would be like if someone my size married that guy? that would crazy, he’d have to like…pick me up just to kiss me!
I met a 7 footer for the Ohio State Buckeyes when I was in high school. We had a layover at the same airport as the team and I was jetlagged as hell. I literally ran into Bill Robinson, the center for the team at the time. Not only was it like hitting a brick wall, I hit my face on his belt buckle. He’s a Kindergarten teacher now. Imagine being in HIS class at 5 years old!
WOW just checked out wikipedia. Despite being so small, that Boykins dude can bench 315, which is more than what Shaq weighs. Props to that guy.

is it just me, or is the name Boykins OVER appropriate for this?
I think basketball with short(er) people would be much more interesting. If you are really tall you basically need to throw the ball a few extra feet or just jump unless you are throwing a 3 pointer or what not. If you are short it takes much more skill. Little People NBA anyone?
