The only thing required for basket ball is being tall (which isn’t a skill) and being able to put a round ball in a round hoop. Not really a difficult skill, aren’t little kids taught that before preschool?
It’s not physically hard on your body, like rugby, football, or hockey. And soccer gets a bad reputation because of all the dives the players take in an attempt to draw cards.
Basketball is wasted of time on ESPN (and all TV), and needs to be reserved for the sports and events that actually require talent.
BTW, NASCAR is not a sport either.

NASCAR is just as much as a sport as any other sport. Sure, it’s just turning left- save a few tracks- but sitting in that hot-ass car for 250+ laps can take a toll on your arms, legs, butt, and especially your sweat glands. Ittakes alot o just even prepare for most of the crap that they have to go through. If any sport wasnt a spart, it’d be curling. It’s really dumb, look it up.
Oh, and I’d like to see you o try and get the stupid oversized orange inot the hoop at least once. Basketball requires form, skill and endurance. Sure if you’re 7 feet tall you’ll probably be good at basketball, but send me a tape of you trying to play basketball, then complaining about how hard it is.
BTW: Basketball is just as hard on your body- if not harder- than baseball. Trust me, I play both.
