Clearly the sign is supposed to be an “O” then a circular arrow, telling the players to run in circles on the field. No fail here.
Might be an improvement compared to how the football team has been playing lately.

Generally when the ND cheerleaders hold the “GO” and “IRISH” signs up, they are standing on the shoulders of other cheerleaders so the audience can see the signs better. She is probably carrying the sign off of the field (albeit in a very excited fashion, over her head).
Hmmm….. Still not as cute as Quitman Bulldog chearleaders. (Im from Quitman and boy i’ve seen a lot of Bulldog games)

Here we have pictorially the educational impact of Obama’s address to Notre Dame last year. This young lady will in a few years be a graduate from this prominent liberal democrat, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage “Catholic” University, possibly receiving one of the following degrees:
B.S. for Bull S.
M.S. for Master S. and
Ph.D. for “Piled Higher and Deeper”.
Perhaps we now know which one this lady is going for, and Notre Dame is sure to give her all the Specialized High Intensity Training that liberalism and Obamania can bring to bear.

When I was in school there, frequently towards the end of blowout games, the cheerleaders would turn the signs upside down or backwards to screw with the student section–we’d be shouting “OG” or “SHIRI” or something stupid.
Of course, we haven’t had many blowout wins lately…I guess they’re trying to disract from what’s actually going on…
I mean. She’s blonde. What do you expect?
