What’s going on is what’s known as “The Big One” at either Daytona or Talladega. Not sure which track, because both have the yellow line at the bottom. One of the “perks” of restrictor plate racing, one guy goes bad and 15 cars go to the garage.
No, what’s happening is a case of really bad puns being put on a lol site.
Talladega.
Daytona’s races were either ran under extremely cloudy conditions (500), or at night (400) this year, so it kind of narrows it down.

I don’t get it. Are they calling these cars that are worth more than most people’s houses “clunkers”?
It’s not so much the picture itself…it’s the pun that comes afterword.
Note the spoilers. This was a Nationwide Series race.
Check the numbers on the cars again, this was the Sprint Cup race. I see the 19 of Elliot Sadler, the 5 of Mark Martin, the 31 of Jeff Burton, the 9 of Kasey Kahne, the 34 of John Andretti, the 7 of Robby Gordon, the 1 of Martin Truex, the 00 of David Reutimann, among others, all Cup cars.
Plus, look at the back of the cars…..the wing….it’s the COT car. They don’t drive that thing in Nationwide.
